For my spring vacation, I flew to Akhiok, Kodiak. Its a small native village of 64 people. Every year a group of people go to the surrounding villages on Kodiak to teach the children about Alutiiq history and crafts. This year i helped teach the kids to make bent wood boxes. Actually, i learned along with the kids, but happened to look more responsible as an adult. (Karina couldn't come cause she had to interview for dental Hygeine school in Seattle.)
