There they are all steamed up. Pretty darn good. I guess you gotta learn how to make your specialty foods when restaurants are laking. Posted by Picasa

Karina making cha-siu bow with Jennifer and her mom. Her mom made some really yummy vegetarian filling with cabbage, mushrooms, ginger, and other goodies. Posted by Picasa

Mountains, mountains, everywhere. Posted by Picasa

On top of Barometer Mountain. What was told to us to be a 1-2 hour hike ended up being a 4 hour hike.... all up hill. Worth it for the view. Posted by Picasa

Julie and Chris in Sharitin bay. We heard whales all night, but never actually saw them. We did see a bunch of otters though. Posted by Picasa

Chris and Chris having Kodiak's very own brewed beer from Kodiak Brewing Company. Nice to be able to have a fire that will be gone in a few hours aftet the tide comes in. Chris and I also learned how to put up a bear electric fence, which was probably most useful for preventing the fox from stealing our stuff. Posted by Picasa

Chris and Julie paddling off. They are using one of the clinic doctors's kayak. Paul made this beautiful cedar strip kayak, and was generous enough to let us borrow it. Posted by Picasa

Getting ready to set out for a kayak camping trip from Anton Larsen Bay to Shartin Bay. Posted by Picasa

There's Karina with her first catch too. You can't see him either, but its a bull fish. We're at Pasagshak river. Honestly, the Reds just started to run. Late run this year. Posted by Picasa

You probably can't see him, but that there is a bull fish, a type of sculpin. He's special cause its the first fish I ever caught in any of Kodiak's rivers. We were actually fishing for Red Salmon that day, but this is about all I caught. Posted by Picasa

Horses in the background. Karina squatting amongst the Lupin flowers. Posted by Picasa

There they are standing on one of the bunkers. Posted by Picasa

There's also a rocket launch facility here on Kodiak. Can you see the rocket launching pad to the left? Posted by Picasa

The Fish tech crew with us above Fossil Beach. There's a bunch of bunkers up here where the military would spend all day looking for Japanese invaders during WWII. Pretty place to be, but that must have been the most boring job ever, especially since no Japanese vessels ever crossed over their horizon. Posted by Picasa

That's Frederico in the back contemplating the idea of roasting a marshmellow. We were honored to be the ones to introduce S'mores to him. I guess not so much s'more making in the south of Argentina. Posted by Picasa

Bringing a seat over to the fire. Posted by Picasa

Having a little camp out at the end of the road on Fossil beach. I wanted to sleep on the beach proper, but it was probably the right choice to camp closer to the lake where the wind wasnt so strong. Posted by Picasa

Houligans bread crumb battered and fried. Thanks to Malina's family for grabbing these little guys by hand in the middle of the night in the river. Posted by Picasa
